An entertainment marketing and film / television development executive, producer, and consultant, Miguel Berg cultivated his entertainment career through his experience at NBC Universal, Warner Bros, and as former Head of Development for Gamechanger Films (The Inspection (A24), Run Sweetheart Run (Amazon), Passing (Netflix). From his early award-winning producing work at Discovery’s Travel Channel to later uniting over 70+ countries worldwide by founding his own international film festival, his impact has elevated creative talent worldwide.
Under his venture, Bravoecho Entertainment, he champions rising talent alongside with global producing partners, film financiers, and community leaders to amplify premium caliber stories that resonate with current markets. As the Head of Strategy & Partnerships of the award-winning creative entertainment marketing agency, Mood Hunter, he leads the North American expansion to work with major studios and brands across entertainment driven and adjacent industries, including in film, tv, fashion, gaming, sports, and more.
Amplifying next-gen Hollywood talent, he’s been a mentor and juror for festivals and initiatives including the Latinx List, Starz #TakeTheLead Writing Intensive, Annapolis Film Festival, the Tampa International Gay & Lesbian Film Festival, USC’s First Look Program, his alma mater Chapman University’s First Cut Program, Women of Color Unite #StartWith8 Hollywood National Association of Latino Independent Producers (NALIP) Latino Media Market, New Filmmakers Los Angeles (NFMLA), Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival (LALIFF), Inside Out Film Festival, Latinx List and Netflix Inclusion Fellowship.
Throughout his 15+ industry experience, he has also been “in the room”, engaging with Heads of State in Latin America to lay the framework for international business opportunities and incentives that continue to provide jobs for creatives and economic success for businesses to this day. Not only has Miguel been recognized as one of the industry’s top 10 rising talents as part of Colour Entertainment’s 2020 Next Up List, highlighting the next generation of diverse Hollywood leaders, but he’s also a 3x USA Triathlon National Championship qualifying triathlete, 2x finisher, and enjoys competing at triathlons where he has continued to raise thousands for Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) and several causes including Cancer and HIV / AIDS research, challenging other industry colleagues and his team with a supportive competitive spirit, championed by his family.
