Miguel Berg is a seasoned film and television development executive, producer, and entertainment strategist with over 15 years of studio and independent experience across NBC Universal, Warner Bros. and critically acclaimed production companies across genres and formats, leading him to work on notable award-winning productions like the Primetime Emmy winning drama This Is Us (NBC), comedy series Special (WB/ Netflix) and Emmy nominated feature Dolly Parton’s Christmas of Many Colors (NBC), Two Sentence Horror Stories (Netflix / CW), and Golden Globe nominated The Inspection (A24). With his cross-functional skills, he has cultivated positive work culture with his teams and earned the respect of many throughout the global entertainment landscape. He recently led a pure-play comedy startup where he oversaw a slate of 25+ projects across formats – features, series, animation, and specials / live events.
A sought-after Latino leader, through his company Bravoecho Entertainment, he consults and develops high-impact projects with global partners and talent. Previously he advised US domestic and Latin American governments on entertainment industry growth, helping facilitate incentives to fuel global production, most notably in his native Colombia. He has also worked for the award-winning entertainment marketing agency, Mood Hunter, expanding its global footprint with major studios, brands, and agencies in North America. Recognized on Colour Entertainment’s Next Up List and as a Latino Media Market Fellow by NALIP, he actively supports diversity in Hollywood through his work with organizations like New Filmmakers Los Angeles, Women of Color Unite #StartWith8 Hollywood that has championed talent through initiatives like Latinx List and the Netflix Inclusion Fellowship, in addition to jurying at notable festivals.
